History is showing ...... getting bigger is often a bad idea

For years now the European union has been struggling.  Unless the union disbands , strong organizations such as Germany will be damaged by really poorly managed entities such as Greece.   I have watched political-minded people want to create bigger and even bigger groupings.  NATO , the European union , and the American Empire.   The U.S. government seems bent on recreating the British empire writ larger.

It looks to me like these behemoths don't benefit anyone but the oligarchy on top.  All the lower level personnel ( gears , cogs , lubricant , steam pressure .... etc. ) just get used and get used up.  I think smaller can be quite glorious , effective , moral and financially successful.

I have come to believe that anarchistial structures provide the largest moral success , largest material wealth ( for all ) and most fun intellectually.   search for 99ippp
