I find it so uncivilized. the rushing shoppers. the closed businesses. the lies about Santa. the once-a-year visitors to church. the ignorance of historical precursors. the mob hysteria. Soon to be over. Fa la la la
What I appreciate are the folks who are generous and freedom-loving and motivated 365 days each year. there are lots of you. Thanks for another great year.

==> NOEN = Number Of Events ( Normalized by HLA ) shedding light on politician
==> HLA = How Long Ago event occurred ( in years )
==> AYOE = Absolute Yumminess Of Event .... from -10 to +10
[ -10 is really creepy event +10 is really inspiring ]
Example:
Let's use Ron Paul as an example .......
Pretend Ron Paul did something something bad 20 years ago..... for minus 10 points.
Then he did 10 great things in the last few years. Say they are worth 5 points ( 2 years ago ), 7 points ( 3 yrs ), 8 points ( 1yr ), 9 points ( 1 yr ) , 7 points ( 4 yrs ) , 8.5 points ( 1 yr ) , 9.1 points ( 1 yr ) , 7.8 points ( 1 yr ) , 8.1 points ( 1 yr ) , 10 ( 1 yr ) ,
The calculator says:
{[-10/20] + [5/2] + [7/3] + [8/1] + [9/1] + [7/4] + [8.5/1] + [9.1/1] + [7.8/1] + [8.1/1] + [10/1]} / {1/20 + 1/2 + 1/3 + 1 + 1 + 1/4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 } = 8.19 points ( -10 to +10 )

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Dec. 23, 2011) - Go Daddy is no longer supporting SOPA, the "Stop Online Piracy Act" currently working its way through U.S. Congress.
"Fighting online piracy is of the utmost importance, which is why Go Daddy has been working to help craft revisions to this legislation - but we can clearly do better," Warren Adelman, Go Daddy's newly appointed CEO, said. "It's very important that all Internet stakeholders work together on this. Getting it right is worth the wait. Go Daddy will support it when and if the Internet community supports it."
Go Daddy and its General Counsel, Christine Jones, have worked with federal lawmakers for months to help craft revisions to legislation first introduced some three years ago. Jones has fought to express the concerns of the entire Internet community and to improve the bill by proposing changes to key defined terms, limitations on DNS filtering to ensure the integrity of the Internet, more significant consequences for frivolous claims, and specific provisions to protect free speech.

Olympics in London is another bad idea and so are follow on games
The budget for the Olympics is around 10 billion pounds ( $15B ) and it keeps increasing.
On 15 March 2007, Tessa Jowell announced to the House of Commons a budget of £5.3 billion to cover building the venues and infrastructure for the Games, at the same time announcing the wider regeneration budget for the Lower Lea Valley budget at £1.7 billion.
On top of this, she announced various other costs including an overall additional contingency fund of £2.7 billion, security and policing costs of £600 million, VAT of £800 million and elite sport and Paralympic funding of nearly £400 million. According to these figures, the total for the Games and the regeneration of the East London area, is £9.345 billion. Then Mayor Ken Livingstone pledged the Games Organising Committee would make a profit.[79]
The costs for staging the Games (£2 billion) are funded from the private sector by a combination of sponsorship, merchandising, ticketing and broadcast rights. This budget is raised and managed by the London 2012 Organising Committee. According to Games organisers, the funding for this budget broadly breaks down as:
- 64% from Central Government;
- 23% from National Lottery
- 13% from the Mayor of London and the London Development Agency
The olympics will encourage the acceleration of the police state. Security keeps escalating.
It is based largely by stealing from the taxpayers.
It encourages unsavoury nationalistic patriotism. It does not promote world peace and friendship.
