Capturing Osama bin Laden ( and giving him a real trial ) would have meant that he could mount a defense. That defense would have allowed him to mention the cozy relationship he has had with the US Government in the past.
All those bad vibes are behind us now ...... that bad ol' monster is dead. Now we will live happily ever after.
