Hackathons I love some .... hate others

Hackathons are attractive because they get creative people together....

If the Hackathon is for purposes of evil.... then applying creative people to it is not good ( by definition ).

Good Hackathons
Brainstorm better techniques and ideas for 3D printing
 Develop new ways of expanding the Intornet of Things




Bad Hackathons
Increase the number of people who vote
        voters are ususally horribly uninformed , looking to feather their own nest by stealing
Increase the efffectiveness of government
        effective government means they are better at stealing, spying and incarcerating

Kudos to Rick Stanley ... a real man

I want to express my thanks to Rick Stanley of Stanley Fasteners ...located in the Denver, CO metro area.  He has contributed much to my life and to that of others.  He has believed in the concept of individual freedom.  He supported the Libertarian Party.  He was ( and I presume is ) a defender of the little guy vs the bullies of the world.

I will be posting more material at this posting as I gather it.
