History shows us that increased technology leads to more goodies and more leisure. This may or may not be a good thing. For most it is good... for the ditch digger out of a job... it is a bummer.
Taken to it's logical conclusion... in the future a lot of humans will not have any real purpose in life other than to consume. We see this happening already. In the U.S. , many people do nothing all day. Many of them are in government. Abundance brings boredom in some cases.
I vote that we let technology proceed.....
