Stolen from the internet:
Let's start with the basic numbers. According to the Bipartisan Policy Center, the U.S. Treasury will have about $172.4 billion in revenue in August that can be applied to $306.7 billion in outstanding bills. If the U.S. Treasury is forbidden from borrowing any additional funds, it will therefore have to cut total August spending by about $134 billion, or 44 percent.
Pretty easy for me to figure out.....
The USG cuts 44% from every invoice ... and them we start prioritizing and shifting the cuts around.
I would start with the military. Ship everyone home and cut $750 billion out of the over 1 trillion spent on war. ( That comes to 63 billion per month ) I would keep payments and care for damaged veterans.
Goodbye NASA, BATF, IRS, EPA, Education, Highway , farm subsidies, retirement for government employees ( including the POTUS , senators, reps, .....) In one day I could strip a lot of pork. What fun. Also goodby to 100% of all regulations. Let's just start over.
