I am reminded of how like royalty the presidential ( POTUS ) paradigm is. Obama is feted about the country on the taxpayers dime. His every whim is indulged. He can break any law he chooses. He can make up any lie he wishes and he has thousands ( maybe many millions ) of lackeys to repeat it. He can interfere with lives, cause people to be killed, people to be enriched, people to be tortured, people to be robbed. I am not sure that anything is outside his whim and reach.
And he is there because many people like it that way.
