USA is providing punishment and torture model

The USA is providing a punishment and torture model to the rest of the world. The supposed "leader of the free world" is filled with shills and sheeple who seem to want to punish most everyone .... sort of as a hobby, I guess. * Guantanamo ...... no trial , no charges , torture ..... * Doug Bruce ... arbitrary charges, use of the government fist ...... * People on the ground in Afghanistan , Libya, Pakistan , Yemen , etc. .......kill 'em from above with hellfire missiles flown by video-gaming CIA operatives. And so it goes .... ( with apologies to Vonnegut )

The dominant culture in the USA seems to be *** kill 'em and let god sort it out or toss 'em in a bottomless pit and let them rot and die ***

I view wind farms with caution

I am not certain that the impact of wind farms and wave farms on local climates is well understood. I much prefer solar and nuclear solutions. Solar and nuclear can be made with very few moving parts. While I love moving parts , they are are more fragile than solid state stuff.

The design Google is backing looks pretty good.
I look forward to seeing the actual plans ........
I look forward to seeing comparisons with other energy gathering schemes.
I look forward to Google sharing the technology the way Facebook has shared server technology.



There are complaints [ Basin and Range Watch ] that the desert ecosystem will be damaged. I bet the endangered breed of tortoise could actually be better protected within the confines of this installation. I encourage BRW to cooperate with Google in making this work for the tortoises.
