Stomp Jesus

The above link references a class where students were asked to stomp Jesus. This exercise was in poor taste and probably steps over the line regarding the power balance between teacher and student.
I think the important part is that many people have learned to be professional victims. They have brought being offended to a fine , fine art. I find it tiresome. Don't participate if you don't want to. Walk away. They are stomping on a piece of paper. If Jesus exists ( which I doubt ) .... then Jesus can take care of the infidels.
I don't think the university should have apologized.
